Syrian refugees have been fighting for a long time. They get shot at and some even get killed. Children are injured or killed also. Syrian refugees should be people of the year because they have been through so much and we need to help them! They lost everything they once knew. The world they knew the places people grew up in are gone because of this war. They need our help because all of their character traits they are not a benefit to them.Syrian refugees should be people of the year because they have been through so much war that they don't want to go through. They get shot at and killed just for being there. Children were even shot at or killed. We should help them get away from war and get the help that they need. We think that that Syrian Refugees should be person of the year because they are trying to fight against ISIS. They are also fighting against these crimes and they are doing nothing about it. They should be person of the year because we should stand up to ISIS. We also think that syrian refugees should be people of the year because they have lost the homes that they have known all their lives. They lost children and the life they once knew. Now they don't know where to go and they are being shot at they don't know what to do. Sometimes people don't welcome them because of fear and because of who they are.

Scared: Syrian refugees are always scared. They get shot at and even killed. They barely got any help from other people they constantly being tortured and were stuck the whole way. They were scared for themselves and others for example family. They were scared of being shot by ISIS (the people who were coming after them.
Sick: Syrian refugees are sick. They get colds or even worse sickness that they don't have or know the medication for it. Some people get cuts on them and the cuts get infected and they can't help them. If they get poliomyelitis and the measles they don't have anything to help them. (Poliomyelitis is a disease that can affect nerves and can lead to partial or full paralysis.) Lost: They don't know where to go. They set up camps anywhere where they can find. They are stuck because the US wont let them into our country for security reasons. They are also constantly on the move trying to find safer places. They don't know what to think or do. There being pulled in so many directions. Poor: They are very poor. They have to find there food in order to get it. They are fleeing from their own homes and they don't take anything except for the things they need. They don't have enough money to buy all the food and medicine that they need. Hurt: With being shot at or having to run all the time they fall and sometimes get injured. Bad scrapes, bruising, and deep cuts that can get infected and they have no help. They are hurt emotionally and physically. Emotionally because of family members being lost, they don't know what they want to do, and the US won't let them in to be safe. Physically because they are being shot, killed, and injured to the point that they can't do much for example they might not be able to walk or think Sad: They lost the life they once knew. all of there homes are gone. They are badly injured and they don't have enough money to buy medicine for their injuries. They lost their homes and family members. The Syrian Refugees don't have a lot to look up to and they are stuck and on their own. The chances of them getting into the US are very slim so they also can't get to as much safety |
